Indications:
Indicated for infected exuding acute (Trauma wounds; Surgical wounds) & chronic (Diabetic Foot Ulcers, Leg Ulcers, Pressure Ulcers) wounds.
Fish Origin Collagen Type-1 97%
1. Important role in all phases of wound healing due to its chemotactic nature, which attracts fibroblasts to the wound site.
2. Supports new blood vessel formation, granulation tissue formation, debridement and the ability of the wound to re-epithelize.
3. Gives a moist wound healing environment, encourage the deposition of new collagen fibers, support new tissue growth and granulation tissue formation in the wound bed.
Mupirocin-USP
Mupirocin is a topical antibiotic effective against Staphylococcus aureus and other gram-positive bacteria, making it invaluable for treating bacterial skin infections and eradicating staphylococci.
Metronidazole-IP
Metronidazole topical cream, an imidazole-class antibacterial agent, is effective in treating Gram-negative bacterial infections and various skin disorders. It has been used for around 30 years, with most clinically important anaerobes remaining highly sensitive to it.
Application Methodology
– Assess, debride and clean the wound according to your protocols.
– Apply VEINFLUX FILL Particles sufficiently to cover the wound surface.
– With a heavily draining wound: Cover with an absorbent dressing and change as necessary.
– With a minimal draining wound: Cover with a secondary non-absorbent dressing and change as required.
– Remove the secondary (cover) dressing daily as indicated by the amount of draining.
– If secondary dressing is adhered to the wound, irrigate with saline solution until dressing loosens and lift gently.
– Irrigate the wound with saline to cleanse the area thoroughly.
– Reapply VEINFLUX FILL Particles as before.
Precautions & Warnings:
1. Wounds may initially appear larger with increased drainage due to reduced edema.
2. Treat underlying conditions (venous/arterial issues, pressure) and ensure proper
nutrition.
3. Avoid use in patients allergic to Collagen, Mupirocin, or Metronidazole.
4. Do not cleanse wounds with Povidone iodine, HO, or Sodium Hypochlorite.
5. VEINFLUX FILL Particles are sterile, single-use only; do not use if the pack is damaged.
6. Reuse, even after resterilization, is discouraged due to infection risk, uncertain sterility, and possible effectiveness loss.
