Placentrex Gel is a topical medication used to treat wounds that are not healing or healing very slowly. It promotes wound healing with minimal scars. It has antimicrobial properties against a large number of pathological microorganisms.
Placentrex Gel contains human placenta extract that has been considered safe and effective as it promotes angiogenesis (formation of new blood vessels) in chronic wounds, reduces pain at the local site and promotes rapid epithelialisation (creating a new barrier between wound and the environment)
HOW PLACENTREX GEL WORKS
Placenta extracts belong to a group of medicines called human-derived ingredients. It works by increasing blood flow and levels of certain proteins (hormones). This promotes tissue regeneration and allows wound healing with minimal scars.
HOW TO USE PLACENTREX GEL:
– This medicine is for external use only.
– Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.
– Check the label for directions before use.
– Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream.
– You must wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying this medicine.
– This medicine should be used regularly to get the most benefit from it.
– Do not use more than you need as it will not clear your condition faster and some side effects may be increased.
PRECAUTIONS:
If your condition goes on for longer than four weeks or gets worse at any time, let your doctor know. You can help this medication work better by keeping the affected areas clean, making sure they are dry, and washing your hands before and after treating the infection.
Avoid direct contact of the cream or ointment with your eyes. In case of direct contact, wash your eyes with water and seek immediate medical attention. You should stop taking it straight away if you have any signs of an allergic reaction.
