Gentamicin 0.1%(W/W) in Collagen base Cream

Description:

1. Collagen base- Ensures prolonged antibacterial activity.
2. Broad spectrum bactericidal agent- gram-ve organisms like Pseudomonas, Proteus, and Escherichia coli & gram +ve organisms like Staphylococcus aureus.
3. Promotes Collagen 7 Expression in Recessive Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa.
4. Stimulates fibroblast activity, promotes angiogenesis, supports re-epithelialization of damaged skin.
5. Significantly reduces the bacterial load within 24–48 hours of application.

Description

INDICATIONS:

a. Primary skin infections (impetigo, superficial folliculitis, ecthyma,furunculosis, and pyoderma gangrenosum)
b. Secondary skin infections (infectious eczematoid dermatitis, pustular acne, pustular psoriasis, infected seborrheic dermatitis, and infected contact dermatitis)
c. Bacterial skin infections
d. Infected skin lesions
e. Bedsores
f. Dermal lesions
g. Second-degree burns
h. Diabetic wounds
i. Scar management

Directions for Use:

1. Before applying VEINFLUX® GENTA cream, clean the wound or infected area thoroughly with water or a saline solution to remove dirt and debris.
2. Apply VEINFLUX® GENTA cream evenly over the entire wound area.
3. Cover the wound with an appropriate secondary dressing, if required.
4. Reapply VEINFLUX® GENTA cream 2–3 times daily, ensuring the dressing is replaced before each application.
